Paintings
Artist Statement: My work functions as a visual archaeology of place, memory, and labor, using painting to reveal how personal histories are embedded in architecture and landscape. I aim to create images that resist speed and spectacle, inviting prolonged attention and emotional recognition rather than instant consumption. Through materially dense surfaces and historically grounded subjects, my practice will articulate the tension between permanence and disappearance in contemporary life. Ultimately, the work will stand as both record and meditation—images that could not have been produced without time, presence, and human touch.
